Use
In this IMG activity, you set up the screen control feature (33ABS) to determine which screen appears based on the type of absence, which is represented as a subtype, in the Absences infotype (2001). For more information, see the documentation for feature 33ABS.
For example, for sickness, you use a different one screen and for business trips, another screen.
In the case of absences caused by sickness, the return value of the feature, ILL, causes a particular screen containing the Relationships field to appear in the Absences infotype.
In addition to using the Relationships field to link together two absences, the system uses the Absence Link field to inherit the average absence amounts from the first absence to the next absence (see Absence Link). As a result, the system uses the rate from the first absence to calculate the second and subsequent absences.
