In this step, you specify the contribution rates to the FWL for foreign workers. Each contribution applies to one foreign worker type and foreign worker subgroup.

You can define the levy on a monthly as well as on a daily basis.

For example, the following foreign worker types are available in the standard system:

  • Domestic worker
  • Construction worker
  • Manufacturing worker
  • Marine worker
  • Other Sector
  • Process
  • Conservancy
  • Service
  • Harbour Craft
  • Grass-cutting

Requirements

Standard settings

The rates of levy valid at the date of delivery have already been maintained in the SAP standard delivery system.

Note

If you want to use the entries contained in the SAP standard delivery system, you first must copy them from client 000 since the table in which they are stored possesses delivery class C.

Activities

Proceed as follows to create a new contribution rate to the FWL:

  1. Select New entries.
  2. Enter the foreign worker type and, if applicable, the foreign worker type subgoup.
  3. Define the contribution per month.
  4. Define the contribution per day. This value will be used for calculating the FWL levy in case of a payroll run that covers only part of a payroll period.
  5. Define the maximum amount that the cumulated daily levies must not exceed.
  6. Save your entries.
