In this step, you configure the feature PVGRP to set a default assignment of the employee to the processing variant that corresponds to his or her employee grouping, in order to decide which standard parameters must be used in the decision tree.

This is helpful to:

  • avoid the creation of a record in the Allowance grouping PT (infotype 0334)
  • automatically set the processing variant by default, even if you wish to create a record in infotype 0334 for each employee.

  1. Fill in the first field of the feature with the number of the processing variant that applies to the employee grouping you want to configure.
  2. Fill in the other fields with the corresponding values. If a field does not require a value, enter a 2-character long blank space in the field.
  3. Save your entries.
