In this IMG step you can change the settings for the feature Job Grade Classification [Funcie niveau indeling] for the 'Wet SAMEN' (NFNCL) (Employment of Minorities Promotion Act) or create your own classification. This classification is used in the report Wet SAMEN (RPLWBAN0), subsection 'Classification of personnel data according to job grade'
Task
An employee's job grade, which is used in the above report, is determined on the basis of certain criteria. You are free to choose your own job classification system. If you do not yet have your own job classification system that can be used for this purpose, you can base it on different classification principles. For example, according to pay or pay scale, or level of education.
Requirements
Standard settings
A sample job grade classification is supplied as part of the SAP standard delivery, which classifies data according to level of education. In order to do so the system uses data from infotype Education (0022).
The example is based on the assumption that data is filled in infotype Education (0022). If it comprises information on a certificate obtained by an employee, the system determines the level of education on the basis of this certificate.
- LBO/MAVO = job grade 2
- MBO/HAVO/VWO = job grade 3
- HBO/UNIVERSTITY = job grade 4
- OTHER = job grade 1
These job grades are based on the classification provided by the Department of Labor [Ministerie van Sociale Zaken].
Recommendation
If you do not record any data in infotype Education (0022), you must create your own job classification system based on your own criteria.
Procedure
Fields that are valid for classification are:
- SLART (=School type) IT 0022
- SLABS (=School leaving certificate) IT 0022
- STELL (=Job) IT 0001
- TRFGR (=Pay scale group) IT 0008
- TRFST (=Pay scale level) IT 0008

If none of the above-mentioned valid fields are chosen it is also possible to call a customer-specific program using this feature, in which case you must replace the contents of the feature by the following line:
