This chapter describes how to define the loan types applicable to your company. These are subtypes of infotype Company Loans (0045).

Example

Your company has the possibility to create the following different types of loans:

  • Loans with fixed repayment installments (fixed repayment loans) [leningen vaste aflossing]
  • Loans with fixed repayment installments plus a certain interest percentage (annuity loans) [leningen annuïteit]
  • Private PC loans [PC-privé leningen]

Requirements

Check which types of loans are applicable to your company.

Standard settings

The SAP standard delivery includes taxed and tax-exempt loans with the above-mentioned features. The interest gain with taxed loans is classified as 'Wage in Kind' and taxed as such. It is also possible to create private PC loans. The PC loan is deducted from gross wages instead of net wages.

Recommendation

Use the SAP examples from the table.

When creating loans you must use:

  • Wage type "NL00" for loans with fixed repayment installments
  • Wage type "NL01" for annuity loans
  • Wage type "NLPC" for private PC loans

Activities

Use the SAP example as a starting point.

  1. Use the function Create or Copy as...
  2. In field Subtype enter a combination of four characters for loan type.
  3. Assign a name to the loan. Choose a name that clearly identifies the features of the loan (taxed/tax-exempt and type of repayment). This makes choosing a loan from infotype Company Loans (0045) a lot simpler.
  4. Save your data.
