In this step, Wage Types that are used for processing overtime are assigned to the Wage Type Group "WTDO" so that the Working Time Directive CHeck can recognise which payments via Additional Payments Infotype (0015) and the Employee Remuneration Infotype (2010) are for overtime.

The hours worked during the "relevant period" includes overtime. Overtime recorded via the Attendance Infotype (2002), is automatically processed, but overtime entered against specific wage types in the Additional Payments Infotype (0015) and the Employee Remuneration Infotype (2010) as a number of hours can be processed by entering the Wage Types in the Working Time Directive Overtime Wage Type Grouping (WTDO).
