The Payroll Priority infotype (0121) is an international infotype. The international screen (2000) for data entry makes restrictions on the entry of reference personnel numbers that are too restrictive for the Multiple Employment solution.
If you wish to use the Multiple Employment solution then the international constraints must be de-activated. These constraints are as follows:
1) The reference personnel number must be active during the period of validity for the infotype.
This is not acceptable for the Multiple Employment solution which makes the strict constraint that once an employee has more than one contract of employment the employee must have a payroll priority infotype. This constraint does not end when all the employees contracts have been terminated. The employee must still have payroll priority infotype with at least on reference personnel number, which will be INACTIVE. This "Terminated Primary" is necessary for late payments to leavers and reporting.
2) The reference personnel number must be in the same Payroll Accounting Area during the period of validity for the infotype.
This is not acceptable for the Multiple Employment solution which allows clients to aggregate the contracts of an employee with different pay dates. To define different pay dates for a Payroll Accounting Area it is necessary to have more than one Payroll Accounting Area.
