This activity enables you to set the data relating to the contract of the employee.
- The function module HR_FR_GET_CONTRACT reads the infotype in which the contract type is stored depending on the value of the CONTR constant.
- The table Work contract (T5F42) enables you to set the nature of the work contract (temporary, permanent), to calculate the employment period and to enter the particular type work contract (qualification or orientation contract).
Standard settings
By default, the value of the CONTR constant is 0. The contract type of the employee is then printed from the CTTYP field of the infotype Contract elements(0016).
Activities
Check or modify if necessary the value of the CONTR constant. To find the contract type for the employee in the infotype Assignment (0001), the value of this constant must be 1.
Enter the contract data in the T5F42
For the switch from a temporary to a permanent contract and vice versa to be considered a single employment period, the days not worked between the two contracts must be non working days.
Define the texts of the modifier Particular contract exempt from contributions. In the following activity, you assign one of these values to each contract type.
Define the modifier Contract category per contract in the table to identify the particular employment category of your employee in the following activity.
