Pay scales and pay scale levels are stored in the standard customising table T510. However, to maintain pay scales and levels for the Belgian Public Sector and to link these pay scales with age classes, table T510 is not accessed directly. Instead two Belgian Public Sector tables need to be used: T5BPBS01 and T5BPBS02. These two tables can be maintained via viewcluster T5BPBS01.
This viewcluster permits to maintain pay scale definitions and pay scale jumps:
1. General description of a pay scale:
* Define a pay scale on basis of a certain pay scale type, area and grouping for CAP
* Link a pay scale with a level, age class and rank
* Define the amount and currency of the yearly salary
* The reference index
E.g.
Pay scale type: 07 (Public Sector)
Pay scal area: : 02 (Flemish Government)
ES grouping for collective agreement provision: 5 (Public Servant)
Legal codification: A1a
Level: A
Rank: A1
Minimum age: 18 year
Minimum yearly salary: 880.000
Index coefficient: 100,00
2. Define pay scale jumps:
For each pay scale it is possible to define how much the salary increase will be after a certain period.
The period is expressed in years.
E.g. : - Three times a salary increase of 30.000 BEF, each time after 1 year
- Five times a salary increase of 60.000 BEF, each time after 3 years
- Two times a salary increase of 50.000 BEF, each time after 3 years
Requirements
Define the pay scale area and pay scale type.
Activities
1) Enter pay scale definitions.
2) Enter jumps per pay scale definition.
