This step describes how to create the standard texts for the mail connection.
Example
The personnel administrator for an employee or the personnel officer for an applicant is changed in infotype 0001, "Organizational Assignment". A mail is now to be sent to certain persons within the enterprise to inform them of this change.
Requirements
You have already specified in the Dynamic actions that a mail is to be sent if changes are made to an infotype. You have also specified a feature. This feature refers to standard texts which are to be created in this step.
Standard settings
The standard SAP system contains two sample standard texts which you can use as a model for creating your own standard texts. These are:
- MAIL_FOR_I0001_A (Change of personnel administrator for an employee)
- MAIL_FOR_I0001_B (Change of personnel officer for an applicant)
Please note that the standard text is stored under the text ID PAMA.

Create the standard texts you require under the text ID PAMA.
Further notes
Each mail comprises a header and contents. Specify the header in the first line of the standard text, and enter the contents starting in the second line.
In the standard text, you can use the fields of infotypes P0001 and P0002 and the infotype which triggers sending of the mail. If the trigger infotype is infotype 0001, "Organizational Assignment", the fields in the following structures are available:
*P0001 (Data before change)
P0001 (Data after change)
The standard settings for style and layout set are used for the mails.
