In this step, you can implement the user exits listed below.

  • User exit HR_BPS_B_PRORATE

For BPS, total points consist of basic points, additional points and carry over points. In one company, all employees are entitled to the same number of basic points.

For a new hired employee, SAP provides three ways to calculate the basic points.

  1. Do not prorate
  2. Prorate by calendar month
  3. Prorate by calendar day

With this user exit, you define your own prorate way to calculate the basic points for a new hired employee who was hired during the benefit point account period.

  • User exit HR_BPS_T_PRORATE

With this user exit, you define your own prorate way to calculate total points for a new hired employee.

  • User exit HR_BPS_ADDPOINT

With this user exit, you define your own way to calculate the additional points.

  • User exit HR_BPS_CARRY_RULE

With this user exit, if there are benefit points carried over from the previous account period, you can define the way to carry over the remaining points to the current benefit point account.

  • User exit HR_BPS_ADJ_REIMBURSE

With this user exit, you define the way to calculate the reimbursement amount. Once it is calculated, it will overwrite the reimbursement amount record stored in the Benefit Request infotype (0718).

  • User exit HR_BPS_FILL_PME97

SAP has delivered the following features:

    • PNTGR: Benefit point account grouping
    • RQLGR: Benefit request type limit grouping
    • REEGR: Benefit request employee eligibility grouping
    • REDGR: Benefit request dependent eligibility grouping

With this user exit, you can add new fileds into the structure CI_PME97.
