In this step, you define the conversion rule of converting a certain number of points into an amount and vice versa. It will be assigned to a request option if applicable.

The conversion rule depends on:

  • Conversion factor
  • Rounding rule and rounding divisor
  • Number of conversion points (you define it according to your company's regulations)

Example

  1. When you carry out the conversion from amount to point, you follow the formula:

Points = ((Round the Requested amount according to the Rounding Rule) * Rounding divisor / Conversion factor ) + Fixed points

But firstly, the Requested amount should be divided by the rounding divisor.

For example, to convert the requested amount 2,050,080KRW into points, you select the conversion rule CV00 and define details as the following:

    • Conversion factor: 1,000KRW
    • Conversion rule: CV00 (rounded down)
    • Rounding divisor: 100KRW
    • Number of conversion points: 100

The system calculates as the following:

  1. 2,050,080 / 100 = 20,500.80KRW
  2. By the rounding rule CV00, round down the amount 20,500.80KRW to 20,500KRW
  3. 20,500 * 100 = 2,050,000KRW
  4. 2,050,000 / 1000 = 2,050KRW
  5. 2,050 + 100 = 2,150

If you set the Conversion factor as zero, the Rounding rule must be blank and the Rounding divisor be zero. Then the fixed number of points is the final points. This applies to the request options for which the deduction points are fixed and given independently for the requested amount.

  1. When you carry out the conversion from point to amount, you follow the formula:

Amount = Conversion factor * (Points - Number of conversion points)
