Within one company, the number of additional points to which the employee is entitled differ with various variant grouping.

In this step, for each point account, you define the additional points rule variant. Variant is account specific, each account has its own variant(s).

The variants range from salary, age, seniority and other factors exclusive of these three parameters.

Together with the later implementation step Define Benefit Additional Point Rule in Customizing, you can specify the entitled additional points for a point account.

Activities

  1. Select a specific benefit area and point account.
  2. Enter the variant you want to create.
  3. Select the parameter group which you have defined in the previous implementation step.
  4. Make further selection of parameter group, thus indicates whether the parameter group is relevant with factor like salary, age, seniority or other factors.

    If you make no selection at all under the heading Benefit point criteria, employees for this particular account are entitled the same number of additional points.

    When you choose the criteria salary, age or seniority, you can further specify the cutoff date of salary, age or seniority.

    The period in which the cutoff date falls will be used as the calculation period relevant with salary, age or seniority.
