In this step, you define the employee eligibility groupings and determine how employees are allocated to these groupings. You do this in order to assign different eligibility rule to different groups of employees for different request types.

Thus, you need to customize the following implementation steps:

  • Define Benefit Request Type Eligibility Rule
  • Define Benefit Request Type Eligibility Rule Attribute

Example

Employees who are over 50 years old are eligible for the group 1, below 50 eligible for the group 2.

Activities

To create a new eligibility grouping for employee,

  1. Select the benefit area.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Enter a four-character identifier and description for the grouping (Identifier exceeding four character is not allowed to input).
  4. Save your entries.
