In this step, you define the account attribute that you require for the administration of employee's requests. This determines the points that an employee receives upon creation of the point account.

With this implementation step, you define an employee's entitled basic points, carry over points for a particular account in a specified period and the number of points that can be spent in the same period.

Activities

  1. Select the benefit area and the point account.
  2. Under the heading Account , you define the basic points during the specified period of the account you have chosen; and determine the point rule variant for the account. You also decide the prorating method used for the new hired employees in your company.
  3. Under the heading Carry over points, you define the maximum number of points that can be carried over from the previous period; and the maximum percentage of points up to a certain number of points that can be carried over.

By using maximum percentage to calculate the carry over points, the points to be carried over = remaining points * maximum percentage.

When the maximum points are not equal to the calculated points by using the maximum percentage, the actual carried over points should be the minor one of these two points numbers.

  4. Under the heading Request point limit, you define the limit number of points that can be spent for an account.
