In this step, you can do following four process for infotype conversion using conversion report.

  • Simulate Property accumulation saving infotype conversion
  • Delete infotype 0169(Saving plan) records
  • Convert Property accumulation saving infotype
  • Delete infotype 0144(Property accumulation saving JP) records

Requirements

You should confirm the following points.

  • Benefits tables have already customized.
  • Conversion table have already customized.
  • Neither infotype 0169 nor infotype 0171 is a trigger of retroactive payroll.

Activities

  1. You have to copy the conversion report to your report (e.g. ZPUPASJ1) and if necessary, you need to make your changes on that report.
  2. Simulate Property accumulation saving infotype conversion
    1. Specify "Simulate IT0144 -> IT0169" as parameter in conversion program.
    2. Submit conversion program.
  3. Decide whether inconvertible field is need to convert.
    1. After you run the report, simulation result list and inconvertible list are displayed. If inconvertible field on the list needs to be converted, you have to add the field to infotype 0169 by using enhanceme Then copy following include reports to your reports(e.g. ZPUPASJ2, ZPUPASJ3), and modify them.

  • Data definition include : RPUPASJ2
  • Module include : RPUPASJ3
  1. If you have add-on fields in infotype 0144, copy following include reports to your reports(e.g. ZPUPASJ2, ZPUPASJ3), and modify them, please.
  • Data definition include : RPUPASJ2
  • Module include : RPUPASJ3
  1. Then you simulate again. If simulate result is correct, you can submit infotype conversion.

  1. If you need, Submit to delete records of infotype 0169.
  2. Convert Property accumulation saving infotype
    1. Specify "Convert IT0144 -> IT0169" as parameter in conversion program.
    2. Submit infotype conversion. A batch input session is generated. The session must be started separately.
    3. If there are some inconvertible records left in infotype 0144, you have to submit "Delete all record of IT0169" , and submit "Convert IT0144 -> IT0169".
    4. As a conversion result, conversion result list is displayed. Make sure that convert process was completely finished and the process was correct. If conversion result is correct, you can submit infotype 0144 deleting.
  3. Submit to delete records of infotype 0144.
    1. Specify "Delete all record of IT0144" as parameter in conversion program.
    2. As a deleting result, deleting result list is displayed.
