In this step, you maintain Regional Services Council (RSC) details necessary for the system to calculate RSC levies.

Activities

Perform the steps below for each Regional Services Council valid for your organization:

  1. Execute the activity.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. In the RSC Code field, enter a code representing a RSC.
  4. Maintain the relevant To and From dates.
  5. In the RSC Descr. field, enter the long text description for the RSC code.
  6. In the RSC Rate field, enter the valid RSC levy rate valid for the region (as specified by the RSC).
  7. Set the indicator in the Vat Ind. field, if the Value Added Tax (VAT) percentage should be used in the calculation of the RSC levy. Note: The constant VAT is stored in the Payroll Constants Table (T511K).
  8. Save your entries.
