As of release 4.6A, the system calculates South African taxes in a simpler manner based on entries in new tax tables.

Activities

If you are upgrading to release 4.6A or higher, you must run this conversion program.

  1. Execute the conversion report in this step.
  2. Set the indicator for 'Converst SA Tax Year Attributes (from table T5W2I to T5W2Q).
  3. Choose 'Execute'.

Once the conversion is complete, you must perform the next conversion.

  1. Set the indicator for 'Convert SARS Office (from table T5W2A to T5W2P).
  2. Choose 'Execute'.

The 'Conversion of South African Tax Tables' appears. If necessary, you can modify the tax office details.

Then choose 'save' and continue processing the conversion program.
