In this step, you maintain the Bonus date in salary packaging feature 16BDT which specifies the bonus date and the validity of the package.
Activities
Based on your country code (MOLGA), the bonus date defaults to payroll as follows:
xxxx-yyyy
xxxx = start date of the annual package
yyyy = bonus date.
Example
The default 0101-2012 indicates that within the Cape to Cairo Trailer (CCT) company, an employee's annual salary package is valid between January 1st and December 31st, while the bonus within the package (for example 13th cheque) is issued on December 20th.
Further notes
The purpose of the package start date, is to indicate the annual validity period of the package.
