You have maintained the SOC codes in step 'Maintain Standard Occupational Categories' (view V_T5W14).

Activities

  1. Execute the activity.
  2. To assign SOC codes to jobs, choose New entries.
  3. Enter a job, the validity dates and a SOC code. Additionaly, you can select an occupational category.
  4. Save your entries.

Further notes

As an alternative to this activity, you can also use the transaction /PP01 to assign the SOC codes to Jobs or Position:

  1. In the field Object type, choose whether you would like to record Jobs or Positions.
  2. In the Object ID field, enter the ID number of the Job or Position in question.
  3. Then, select the infotype Equity Attributes (ZA) (1633). Note: If this infotype is not in your Active list, choose Settings -> Country Specific Infotypes , then select For the following countries, enter ZA and then choose Enter.
  4. Then choose Change.
  5. In the field SOC Code, select the relevant SOC code for the occupational category.
  6. Save your entry.
