Activities

  1. Choose Create new NQF model and enter the corresponding text in the NQF model and Description sections accordingly.
  2. In the next step, you can either:
    • Create a new unit standard
    • Insert a qualification.

To insert a new unit standard, select the model in question and then choose Create new object. Note: It is recommended to select the icon for the model to ensure that the entry has been selected.

To insert an existing qualification, select the model in question and then choose Insert Existing Object. Note: It is recommended to select the icon for the model to ensure that the entry has been selected.

  1. Continue performing the above steps until the NQF Unit Standard Catalogue is complete for your organization.

Further notes

  • You can also add this step to your favorites section in the SAP Easy Access Menu. To do so, choose Favorites -> Insert transaction, then in the field Transaction code, enter P16_NQFCHANGE.
  • For information purposes, you can display the object key for unit standards by choosing View -> Key on/off.
  • It is possible to create different structures with totally different Personnel Development configurations. In order to switch between the different plan versions, choose Settings -> Change Plan Version and then select the plan in question.
  • By choosing Change Key Date , you determine the start date validity for NQF unit standards, qualifications, and outcomes.
  • Settings -> Change Appraisal Template -> In the event that you would like to configure other NQF type appraisal (different from the standard SAP delivery), you must create the new appraisal attributes with the view cluster Appraisal template (VC_T5W8H).
