This table contains South African tax rates per tax year and must always be kept up to date with the most recent tax information issued by the Receiver of Revenue.
Taxes are calculated based on the net income, age, and the employment status of an employee being full time. According to these criteria, look up tables are used to calculate tax deductions.
Note
Part-time employees are not taxed using this table, but are taxed at a constant rate (PTPER) which is maintained in table T511K.
Recommendation
Do not maintain this table unless absolutely necessary, for example, for new tax years or any changes issued by the Receiver of Revenue. SAP will inform you of such changes.
