In this activity you can maintain the values established by law for the number of notice and seniority days that employees are entitled to on terminating a work relationship with the company.
Example
The number of notice and seniority days are set by law, and depend on the amount of time that the employee worked in the company, and the reason for termination of the work relationship.
For example, if the work relationship terminates due to a justified dismissal or a simple resignation, notice is defined in accordance with the following:
Time worked Notice days
After 1 month 7
After 6 months 15
After 1 year 30
For seniority, if the termination of the work relationship is due to an unjustified dismissal, the company must pay the employee the number of days that he/she is owed for the time worked, as well as the additional days which the law sets for this reason, as shown in the following table:
Time worked Seniority days
After 3 months 10 days of wages
After 1 year or fraction of 6 months 30 days of wages
Standard settings
The standard SAP R/3 system contains the values established by law to define the number of notice and seniority days which the employee is entitled to on termination of the work relationship.
Activities
Use the Notice and Seniority Days table (T7VEPN) view to check that the number of notice and seniority days to which the employee is entitled, according to the type of termination of the work relationship and the time worked in the company, are the same as the values established in current legislation.############################################
