In this activity, you specify the level of messages to be returned by the TaxFactory executable.

Activities

  1. Execute the activity.
  2. In the subsequent table, choose Position, enter the constant TFMSG, and choose Enter.
  3. Enter the required value in the Value column. The possible values are determined by Business Software, Inc. (BSI), and are as follows:

  • TaxFactory versions up to and including 8.0
    • 0: NO CALCULATION ERRORS
    • 1: INFORMATIONAL MESSAGES
    • 2: LEGALITY MESSAGES
    • 3: CALCULATION ERROR(S)
    • 9: FATAL CALCULATION ERROR
  • TaxFactory version 9.0 and onwards
    • 0: NO-CALC-ERRORS, NO-WAGE-ERRORS, INFORMATIONAL-MESSAGE
    • 1: ASSUMPTIONS-MADE
    • 2: LEGALITY-WARNING
    • 3: FAILURE
    • 4: FATAL-ERROR
