Use
In this step, you configure the assumed hours that the system will use - per combination of user-specified criteria, such as employee group and subgroup, or payroll area, or personnel area and subarea - to compute Washington State Supplemental Pension Tax. To this end, you first configure feature 10SPT to record the corresponding payroll constant(s). Then, in the Payroll Constants view (V_T511K), you define the value(s) of the payroll constant(s) thus identified; each value corresponds to the number of assumed hours for that combination of criteria.

Execute this step. On the subsequent dialog box, choose the first activity:
Configure feature 10SPT to record payroll constant(s) for assumed hours
On the next screen, configure this feature, in accordance with its documentation, to ensure that each applicable payroll constant is recorded.
Save your changes, then activate the modified feature.
Return to the initial dialog box, then choose the second activity:
Define value(s) of payroll constant(s) for assumed hours in view V_T511K
On the subsequent screen, for each payroll constant you have identified in the first activity, define its value here. Each value defined corresponds to the number of assumed hours that the system will apply for the combination of user-specified criteria assigned to it.
