In this step, you create new mapping wage types for each tax level or tax authority that you need to split.
For the newly created wage types, make sure that processing class 32 is turned on for posting.
Example
You have 3 tax authorities, FED, CA, and OK, that you want to post to different symbolic accounts for wage types /401 and /410. You will need to create 6 new wage types using the customer naming range:

Requirements
To avoid double posting, set processing class 32 of the original tax wage type to 0. For the example above, set processing class 32 of /401 and /410 to 0.
To avoid double remitting, set processing class 73 and 78 for the original tax wage type to 0. In the example above, processing classes 73 and 78 of /401 and /410 should be set to 0.
