Use
In this Customizing activity, you choose which output parameter from BSI you want to use to fill in the Taxable Wages output parameter from SAP.
To identify reportable wage amounts for income withholding, used for reporting purposes outside of BSI TaxFactory, BSI TaxFactory returns to the SAP system the Taxable wages output parameter. From cyclic BSI TaxFactory 9.0.f3 onwards, BSI has enabled the DRSVD1 output parameter in addition to the Taxable wages output parameter.
This parameter contains the reportable wage amount output for income withholding (Tax Type '01') liabilities.
Note
Depending on the authority and reciprocity input parameters, such as Tax-level Certificate Code and Nexus Indicator, the DSRVD1 parameter will mirror the Taxable Wage calculation from Tax Factory 8.0.
Requirements
You have installed BSI TaxFactory 9.0.f3 cylic.
Standard settings
Activities
Execute this activity and set the value of configuration option BSITW according to the needs of your company. The possible values of the configuration option are as follows:
- 'TF90': This is the value in the standard system. It defaults to the new reciprocity logic introduced in the TaxFactory 9.0 to fill Taxable Wages output parameter. As a consequence, the Taxable Wages parameter from SAP is filled in using the Taxable Wages parameter from BSI.
- 'TF80': Select this value if you want to use the old reciprocity logic used in TaxFactory 8.0 to fill in the Taxable Wages output parameter. As a consequence, the Taxable Wages parameter from SAP is filled in using the DSRVD1 parameter from BSI.
