Activities

To add new tax areas:

  1. Enter the name of the tax area.
  2. Enter the zip code range for the tax area.
  3. Enter the validity period for the zip code range.

To refine existing zip code ranges:

  1. Change the beginning of the zip code range.
  2. If the end of the range must change, delete the existing record and add a new one with the correct range.

Further notes

The zip code ranges provided for each tax area, whether a state or a locality within the state, are the ranges for the entire state. You may define the ranges more narrowly for localities in this step.
