Use

In this Customizing activity, you use a feature to determine the tax type for custom wage types, by tax authority.

The feature 10RTY is used in the workflow of the Third-Party Remittance evaluation process to determine the tax type of a custom wage type. It enables you to use custom wage types to remit any tax type to tax authorities of any tax level.

As a result you can, for example, use custom wage types to remit Earned Income Tax (EIT) to the work Tax Collection District (TCD) for Pennsylvania localities.

Both the Create Third-Party Remittance Evaluation Run (RPURME00) report and the Payroll Driver USA (RPCALCU0/RPCALCU0_CE) with schema U500/U50C call this feature. Based on the tax type returned by the feature, the reports determine the remittance authority for the custom wage type.
