Use

In this step, you configure feature 10OTX to identify subtypes of the Payroll Results Adjustment infotype (0221) for which the system should not (re-)calculate taxes during cross-year retroactive payroll runs. In essence, by configuring feature 10OTX in this step, you can "freeze" the taxes that were calculated in the original payroll run for the corresponding subtypes of the Payroll Results Adjustment infotype (0221).

  1. Execute this step.
  2. In the resultant dialog box, choose the first activity:

  • Configure feature 10OTX
    1. On the subsequent screen, choose Change, then configure feature 10OTX to identify the applicable subtypes of the Payroll Results Adjustment infotype (0221). For detailed configuration instructions, consult the documentation for feature 10OTX. (For additional background information, you may also consult the documentation for function UOTX0.)
    2. Activate the modified feature, then exit feature maintenance.

  1. In the resultant dialog box, choose the second activity:

  • Update schema UTX0 (or your customer-specific equivalent)
    1. On the subsequent screen, choose Change, then configure schema UTX0 - or your customer-specific equivalent thereof (for example, ZTX0) - as shown in the example below, by assigning value D to parameter 1 of function UOTX0. (For additional background information, you may also consult the documentation for schema UTX0.)
