In this step you create tax form classes for user-defined tax forms and assign attributes to these form classes.

Example

If your company wishes to use Tax Reporter to generate forms that SAP does not deliver with the standard system, you must create tax form classes for your user-defined tax forms. Once you have created your user-defined tax form classes, you must define the tax form class attributes.

Activities

To create user-defined tax form classes, do the following:

  1. On the Tax Form Class Description screen, choose New Entries.
  2. Enter four characters, the first of which must be "Z", along with an appropriate description. These will identify your user-defined tax form class.
  3. Save.

To define attributes for the tax form class you created in the previous activity, do the following:

  1. Select the standard-delivered tax form class that most closely resembles your user-defined tax form class from the Tax Form Class details screen.
  2. Choose Copy.
  3. Enter your user-defined tax form class, and modify its attributes to suit your tax form requirements.
  4. Save.

Once you have created your user-defined tax form class and assigned tax form class specifications, proceed with configuration as you would with standard-delivered tax form classes.
