In this step, you generate the calendar for the accumulation of wage types. Certain wage types are accumulated over several periods during payroll to form, for example, monthly, quarterly or annual totals. Before the wage types can be accumulated, you must determine the month, quarter, or year of all your accumulation intervals.

This will be the basis for the calculation of accumulations in payroll.

Requirements

Standard settings

The standard SAP System contains sample entries which you can use.

Recommendation

You should generate the accumulation intervals for several years in advance.

Activities

  1. Check the available entries. If they are available for the current year, it is not necessary to run the program.
  2. Set the selection screen parameters.
  3. Start the program.
  4. Check the log:
    • Is the time interval correct?
    • Are the generated intervals correct?
