Use

In this Customizing activity, you maintain additional information for tax reporting such as:

  • Magnetic media information
  • Philadelphia resident/non-resident rate
  • FUTA maximum credit rate
  • Additional rate
  • 940 credit reduction rate
  • Florida installment fee

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Enter tax company, tax form class, tax authority, tax type information. If any of these fields are not required, leave them blank. For example, the FUTA maximum credit rate is independent of tax companies; you can leave the tax company field blank.
  2. Enter the effective date for the entry.
  3. Enter the magnetic media information, rate, or quarter in which you want to pay the Florida installment fee.

Note

  • Rates: You must enter rates as four-digit decimals. For example, the 2005 FUTA maximum credit rate is 5.4%; you must therefore enter the rate as 0.054.
  • Florida installment fee: Enter the number of the quarter in which you want to pay the Florida installment fee (amount stored in constant FLIFE in the V_T511P view). Only make entries for Florida installment fee in this Customizing activity if you need to specify different quarters for different tax companies. If you want to pay the fee for all tax companies in the same quarter, execute Customizing activity Define quarter for payment of FL installment fee.
