Use
For Payroll USA, some relevant infotypes can be read during payroll calculation with the pay date. With the standard settings the system locks these infotypes for master data changes until the pay date if the pay date is after the period end.
With this feature you can group employees that should have the same locking behavior during the period when the payroll area is set to Released for Payroll.
Requirements
Standard settings
This feature is empty in the standard delivery.
If you do not maintain this feature the system first checks whether you have defined an HR attribute group of HR attribute class CL_PA_RETRO that matches with the tax company of the employee.
If there is no HR attribute group defined for the respective tax company the system applies the default locking behavior for the employee. Infotypes that are locked by default beyond the period end date, if the pay date is later, are defined in the fixed values of HR attribute SO_PAYDT_LOCK_PA.
In the standard settings, the following infotypes are locked until the pay date.
