In this step, you determine the cumulation of wage types in the Order Type wage type group with respect to third-party remittance and priority.

Requirements

You have copied your wage types from the model wage types and assigned them to the Order Type wage type group.

Standard settings

As delivered, the standard system features a number of model wage types for garnishment order types.

Recommendation

We recommend the following value assignments for the two activities in this step.

  1. Third-Party Remittance
    1. Processing class 73

  • All wage types that are transferred must be assigned the value 1.
  • Wage types that are not transferred must have no value for this processing class.
  1. Processing class 78
  • All wage types that are transferred must be assigned the value 1.
  • Wage types that are not transferred must have no value for this processing class.

  1. Priority
    1. Priority

  • With the exception of wage types for voluntary garnishments, all wage types must be assigned the value A, which denotes highest priority.
  • Wage types for voluntary garnishments may be assigned a lower priority, such as C.
  1. Arrears
  • All wage types must be assigned the value 4.
