In this step, you create the company service charge rule. This rule determines the additional amount that will be levied upon garnishments and remitted to your enterprise.
If your enterprise does not require a company service charge rule, omit this step and proceed to the next one.
Requirements
You have already created both the service charge texts and the modifier for the company service charge rule.
Standard settings
As delivered, the standard system does not include model company service charge rules.
Recommendation
If you configure both the company service charge rule and the government service charge rule, the system will compare the two and apply the smaller rule to the garnishment.
Consequently, we recommend that you configure the company service charge rule only if the government service charge rule is not sufficient for the needs of your enterprise.
