In this step, you create the modifier for the company service charge rule that will apply to garnishments in your enterprise. Using this modifier, you can create new company service charge rules as often as required.
If your enterprise does not require a company service charge rule, omit the next two steps and proceed to the third one.
Requirements
You have already created service charge texts above.
Standard settings
As delivered, the standard system includes a link to the appropriate feature.
However, no model company service charge rules are included.
Recommendation
If you configure both the company service charge rule and the government service charge rule, the system will compare the two and apply the smaller rule to the garnishment.
Consequently, we recommend that you configure the company service charge rule only if the government service charge rule is not sufficient for the needs of your enterprise.
