In this step, you create the income tax wage types that you require by copying the model wage types in the standard system.
These copies are the wage types you will use for further processing and which you can modify to suit your requirements.
In this step, you also define the cumulation class for the base tax wage type that you have just created.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP system, the cumulation classes are stored in the areas from 01 to 89. Cumulation classes 90 to 99 are for customer-specific entries.
Recommendation
- Please use only the area specified for your own copied wage types. Do not copy wage types to the area reserved for SAP standard wage types.
- SAP recommends that you only create new cumulation classes in the above customer area, as entries that are maintained in the standard SAP system could be overwritten when the release is next updated.
- SAP recommends that you do not delete or change any of the cumulation classes that are contained in the standard SAP system as this could lead to errors when you try to run payroll accounting.
Activities
