In this step, you define the employee contribution to the Employee Stabilization Fund (ESF) for the specific ESF category.
Standard settings
The standard system provides sample employee category based on a model company.
Recommendation
Use the sample employee contribution provided as a basis for customizing your company data.
SAP recommends that you only create ESF category, as entries that are maintained in the standard SAP system could be overwritten when the release is next updated.
SAP recommends that you do not delete or change any of the ESF category that are contained in the standard SAP system as this could lead to errors when you try to run payroll accounting.
Activities
To create new ESF category by copying samples from the standard system, proceed as follows:
Note the specifications required for the relevant ESF category.
Make a copy of the selected sample ESF category.
Edit the ESF category to suit your requirements.
Check that all the ESF category displayed on the list are copied correctly.
The new ESF categories are now copied. A list is generated logging the changes to all tables affected.
