In this step, you maintain the mapping overtime wage type table that you require by copying the model wage types in the standard system.
These copies are the wage types you will use for further processing and which you can modify to suit your requirements.
Standard settings
If your company does not have a cut-off date (T511K-CUTOF=0), then it is not necessary to maintain Fields 'OT>CUT.NOT' and 'OT>CUT.TAX'.
If your company does not have OT non-taxable limits (T511K-OTMAN=0 and T511K-OTFEM=0), then there is no need to maintain Fields 'OT<CUT.TAX' and 'OT>CUT.TAX'.
If the Processing Class 65 of wage type has a value other than 1, then there is no need to maintain Fields 'OT<CUT.TAX' and 'OT>CUT.TAX'.
Recommendation
Please use only the area specified for your own copied wage types. Do not copy wage types to the area reserved for SAP standard wage types.
SAP recommends that you only create new processing classes in the above customer area, as entries that are maintained in the standard SAP system could be overwritten when the release is next updated.
Activities
To create new mapping overtime wage type table by copying sample wage type from the standard system, proceed as follows:
Note the specifications required for the relevant wage types.
Make a copy of the selected sample wage types.
Edit the wage type to suit your requirements (modify the long and short texts of the copy wage types, if necessary).
Flag the Test field if you want to carry out a test run.
Check that all the new wage types displayed on the list are copied correctly.
The wage types are now copied. A list is generated logging the changes to all tables affected.
