In this step, you maintain the payroll constants used in the processing
of payroll. These includes:
- Set NHI average family member
- Set NHI maximum family members
- Set NHI fee percentage
- Set NHI minimum amount for adult
- Set NHI regional person contribution
- Activate check on NP and NHI premium. For more information about how to use the payroll constant, seeNPNHI.
- Define NHI Premium Adjustment Percentage. For more information about the constant, see NHADJ.
- Define NHI Subsidy Percentage (Medium). For more information about the constant, see NHSBM.
- Define Minimum Eligible NHI Premium for Medium Subsidy. For more information about the constant, see NHLOW.
- Define Minimum NHI Premium for Not Receiving Subsidy. For more information about the constant, see NHMED.
Standard settings
Values that are commonly used have already been maintained in the SAP
standard delivery system. You can use these as models for your own
entries.
Recommendation
- The payroll constants are provided by the NHI bureau, according to government regulations.
Activities
To maintain new payroll constants, proceed as follows:
- Check/enter the validity dates and amounts of relevant payroll
constants. - Save the entries if modifications are made.
