Use

In this IMG activity, you define bonus models and set up the required parameters and definitions of bonus scales for particular regions and personnel administration assignments. The IMG activity comprises the following activities:

• Define the Models
  You define the groups of bonuses that you want to grant your employees, for, example, based on an organizational assignment or region.
• Determine Personal Parameters
  You enter the personal modifiers that you want to use as a selection basis using personal data in the IMG activity Determine Personal Modifiers According to Personal Data.
• Determine Scale Definitions
  You group the different bonus model calculation methods you want to use by entering various scales.
  For each scale that you define, you enter function modules that the system uses to determine the following data:
• How the initial value is used in the calculation process (Initial Fmodul field)
• How you want the system to apply the variable value of a bonus scale
• The date when the current bonus payment ends. The system uses this data to record when an employee passes from one seniority level to another.
  If you want to enter the value of scales as an amount, set the Value is Amount indicator (see below).
• Determine Values of Scales
  For each scale that you create in the previous step, you enter an amount or rate. You determine that the system interprets your entries an amount by selecting Value is Amount in the previous step, Determine Scale Definitions.
• Assign Scale to Model and Personal Modifier
  For each combination of bonus model and personal modifier that you create in the preceding steps, you define a scale of the bonus model.
