Use
In this IMG activity, you determine how the system reacts when you try to enter a period of sickness during vacation.
If you turn on this function, you use the following two IMG activities to adjust how the system processes such absences.
- In the IMG activity Perform Absence Assignment, you determine which types of vacation you extend with a period of sickness.
- You use the Business Add-In (BAdI: Update Infotype Data) to update the data in the infotypes affected by the period of sickness that you enter in the Absences infotype (2001).
Furthermore, you specify if the system updates employees' vacation quotas automatically.

Activities
To determine whether you can enter periods of sickness during vacation, enter one of the following parameter values for a combination of program INFTY2001 and parameter MODE:
Value Function
1 A dialog box appears, in which you confirm if you want to enter sickness during vacation.
2 The system automatically allows a period of sickness during vacation.
other The system does not allow you to enter a period of sickness during vacation.
To determine if the system runs the report to update vacation quotas automatically, enter the following parameter values with program INFTY2001 and parameter QDR:

X The system runs the Leave Accrual and Quota Deduction report (RPTBPC10) when you complete vacation processing
Not X You have to run the Leave Accrual and Quota Deduction report manually.
