Use

In this Customizing activity, you enable the system to enter data about an employee's pay in forms, for example, in the following forms:

  • Hire new employees using the forms T-1 and T-1a
  • Assign an employee to a different organizational unit using the forms T-5 and T-5a
  • Vacation payments using form T-60
  • Payments when you terminate an employee's contract using form T-61
  • Individual payroll data using form T-54a
  • Social insurance payments

To output data related to an employee's pay on the required forms, you assign wage types to wage type groups that the reports that prepare the above forms read.

Requirements

You have made sure that the wage types for calculating social insurance payments and pay for work accidents and occupational illness (see the Activities section) are assigned as the average bases to the corresponding cumulation rule. You make this assignment in Customizing for Payroll Russia under Time Wage Type Valuation -> New Averages -> Create Calculation Rules for Averages -> Cumulation Rules for Bases for Calculating Average Values.

Standard settings

Activities

Assign wage types to the following wage type groups, which are represented by substeps in this Customizing activity:

  • Basic payments
Enter the wage types that contain an employee's basic payments, as stipulated in the employment contract. The wage types are stored in the Basic Pay (0008) infotype.
  • Extra payments
Enter the wage types that contain extra payments that you give your employees, as stipulated in the employment contract. The wage types are stored in the Basic Pay (0008) infotype.
  • Amounts that the system uses to calculate social insurance payments and pay for work accidents and occupational illnesses
We recommend that you enter the wage types that store the base amounts for calculating social insurance payments in the Customizing activity Link Wage Type for Social Insurance Base to Calculation Modifier.
Only if you want to prepare forms with data that you stored in the system before you used the solution described in SAP Note 1617139, should you enter wage types as follows:
    • Sickness certificates
To calculate sick pay based on sickness certificates, the system uses a technical wage type (for example, /S11 for 2011) to store the total base amount for social insurance payments in a given year. The system also uses a combination of wage types that store base amounts for social insurance contributions in the Other and Previous Employers (0293) infotype (for example, SI11 for 2011) and the wage type (for example, /402) that stores the base amount for social insurance payments in a particular payroll period.
In this Customizing activity, enter the wage types that correspond to wage types /S11 and SI11.
    • Work accidents and occupational illnesses
To calculate pay for work accidents and occupational illnesses, the system uses a combination of the wage type that stores base amounts for work accidents and occupational illnesses in the Other and Previous Employers (0293) infotype (for example, SA11 for 2011) and the wage type (for example, /405) that stores the base amount for work accidents and occupational illnesses in a particular payroll period.
In this Customizing activity, enter the wage types that correspond to SA11.

Note: To output employees' social insurance payments correctly using the Sickness Certificates Register (HRULSICK) report, the validity period of the wage types that you enter in this Customizing activity must be valid from the first day of the year to which the wage types relate. For example, for wage types that contain amounts for 2011, the start date must be 01.01.2011.
The validity period of the wage types is required only if you use this Customizing activity and not the Customizing activity Link Wage Type for Social Insurance Base to Calculation Modifier. If you use the Customizing activity Link Wage Type for Social Insurance Base to Calculation Modifier, the system uses the Payroll Year field to determine the year to which the wage types relate. If you enter wage types that store the base amounts for calculating social insurance payments in the Customizing activity Link Wage Type for Social Insurance Base to Calculation Modifier, you do not need to enter the first day of the corresponding year as the start date of those wage types.
