Use

In this IMG activity, you enter the wage types that want to exclude from the absence pay calculation. The wage types that you enter are relevant only for absence types in the Additional Social Insurance Data infotype (0292).

Since an absence type can have several wage types, but the Calculation Allowance for Social Insurance function ( RUSI0) must process only one wage type, you exclude the other wage type that is not relevant by adding it to this IMG activity.

Example

If employees are sick when a factory suffers downtime, you use a particular absence type. The absence type has two wage types, one for the duration of the downtime and one for sickness during downtime.

Function RUSI0 must process only the sickness wage type and skip the wage type for downtime. You exclude the wage type that contains data about the whole of the downtime by entering it in this IMG activity.
