Use
In this IMG activity, you copy SAP model wage types to create your own wage types for use in sickness processing.
You use the copied wage types during subsequent processing. If required, you can adjust the characteristics of individual wage types during online processing.
You use this wage type catalog for the actual amounts that employees receive during a period of absence, that is, the system determines the social insurance group is based on the following data:
- An employee's seniority
- An employee's personal data from the Additional Social Insurance Data infotype (0292)
- The social insurance group conversion, based on the data in the Additional Social Insurance Data infotype (0292)
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system contains model wage types. Only copy the standard wage types if they do not meet your requirements.
Activities
Copy wage types for sickness processing by copying the wage type catalog or by creating prototype wage types.
Note: When you copy wage types, you copy both the online processing characteristics and the characteristics associated with the calculation of SAP wage types. For more information about creating customer-specific wage types, see Wage Type Concept.
