In this IMG activity, you check the conversion settings for social insurance groups and social insurance group modifiers.
You use these conversion settings to determine how much employees receive when they are unable to work. This calculation takes place in the payroll function RUSI0.

Example
An employee is assigned to social insurance group <5 (less than five years of uninterrupted work). This employee is a single mother, which means that she is also assigned to the social insurance group modifier 04 (single mothers). The combination of social insurance group <5 and social insurance group modifier 03 result in social insurance group >8. This means the employee's entitlement is the same as for someone who has worked for longer (social insurance group >8).
