Use

In this IMG activity, you enter parameters to influence the rounding of amounts in the forms and to determine which method the system uses to calculate the amount for wage type code $0037.

You can use the following parameters for program HRULAVP0_2004:

  • ROUND_SUM
    You use this parameter to define the algorithm that the system uses to round the amounts as follows:
    • If you leave the parameter value blank, the sum for the quarter is calculated as first month + second month + third month. The system reads the amounts for each month from payroll.
    • If you enter parameter value X, the system calculates the sum for the quarter as follows:
      The system reads the totals for the first and second months, and for the whole quarter from payroll.
      The system calculates the amount for the third month by subtracting the amounts for the first and second months from the total for the quarter.
  • P_CHECK_0004
    You use this parameter to determine the method that the system uses to calculate the amounts in wage type code $0037, which relates to parts 3 and 3.1 on the output forms.
    • If the payroll run checks if an employee is challenged, enter parameter value X.
    • If the payroll run does not check the challenged status, leave the parameter value blank. In this case, before the system reads the value of wage type code $0037, the report checks if an employee is challenged by reading the Challenge infotype (0004).
