This function automatically includes employment income, simplifying the filing of income tax returns.

Instead of preparing the form IR8A and distributing it to the employees for the filing of their income tax returns, the company is required to transmit the same information currently reported in the Form IR8A/S electronically. This would mean that employees will not need to report or enclose the Form IR8A/S in their income tax returns, making the effort required to print them obsolete.

Activities

The following steps need to be carried out prior to processing IRASline for the employee:

  1. Maintain the last two columns in the table view V_T5R0P (Extras for Personnel Area/Personnel Subarea).
  2. Maintain the feature, 25INA (Determine employee's nationality code for IRAS line).
  3. Assign new country keys in theCountry or Nationality Code for a Given Country Key feature (25CCD).
  4. Configure the return values for IC types in theFeature to Determine the IC type Number (25ICT).
