In this step you can define rates for lump payments and Social Provident Fund deductions for employees for whom payroll accounting is carried out on a semi-monthly basis.
The wages that are paid to an employee for the first two weeks of a payroll period are normally paid as an advance payment. In this case, the percentages of the employee's basic pay, overtime pay, allowances, and other pay that you specify here are used to form the amount of such an advance.
You can define the lump payments and deductions in dependency of the following:
- personnel area
- personnel subarea
- employee group
- employee subgroup
- Social Provident Fund
Standard settings
Values that are commonly used have already been maintained in the SAP standard delivery system. You can use these as models for your own entries.
Note
If you want to use the entries contained in the SAP standard delivery system, you first must copy them from client 000 since the table in which they are stored possesses delivery class C.
